DANVILLE Edna Mae Woosley, 71, of Indiana, formerly of Jackson County man is slain A Jackson County man was shot and killed late Tuesday and another county resident was charged with murder, state police said yesterday. Earl Rice, 34, of Annville was charged in connection with the slaying of Gary Lee Robinson, 23, of Tyner. Robinson died of a single gunshot wound to the head just after 11 p.m. The shooting occurred in the driveway of the Willard McQueen residence on Abnertown Road, five miles south of Tyner in the Dolittle community.

McQueen is Rice's brother-in-law, said Jackson County Coroner Earl Lakes, who pronounced Robinson dead at the scene. State police said Rice was being held in the Jackson County Jail. The investigation is continuing. Robinson is survived by his wife, Pam Robinson. Lakes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, which were incomplete last night.

George Robert Crabtree, 101.0 dies STANTON George Robert Crabtree, 101, a retired Bowen merchant and farmer, died yesterday at his home after a long illness. Crabtree was a member of the Powell County Board of Education for 20 years and was a member of the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service. He also was a member of Stanton Masonic Lodge No. 352 He was a member of Bowen Church of Christ. Crabtree is survived by five daughters, Elsa Rogers, Nellie Skidmore, Eula Skidmore and Reva Carter, all of Stanton, and Venice Rogers of Jeffersonville; and three sons, Clarence Crabtree of Mount Sterling, Dale Crabtree of Lexington and Ernest Crabtree of Stanton.

John Raymond Davis, ex-Ford executive, dies John Raymond "Jack" Davis, a former group vice president of Ford Motor died Tuesday at the University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Medical Center. He was 90. After he retired in 1957, Davis became involved in horse racing. He became president of the Detroit Race Course and settled on Woodcrest Farm in Fayette County.

Davis, of 3820 Huffman Mill Pike, a native of Pennsylvania, joined Ford Motor Co. at Highland Park, after he graduated from Detroit College of Law in 1919. Four years later he was appointed assistant general manager of sales and advertising and in 1928, as director of sales and advertising, became responsible for the company's worldwide organization. In 1945, Davis was elected to Ford's board of directors and stayed in that position until his retirement. In 1953, he was promoted to group vice president in charge of the International Division, Tractor Division and Special Products Division, and chairman of the Product Planning Committee.

He retired in 1957 after his second heart attack. He is survived by his wife, Mary Marguerite Davis; and a stepson, Raymond C. Cunningham of Kingsport, Tenn. Private services are planned for a later date. W.R.

Lloyd, of 138 Shady Lane, retired from General Telephone Co. in 1965. He began in 1916 as a telegrapher for one of Lexington's phone companies. He was at GTE when he retired. He was a past master of Lexington No.

1 A.M., and a York Rite McCullough, Lexington; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold F. Lloyd and L.F. Lloyd Jr. Services 10:00 a.m.
